Why I believe: Art at Your Home should be personal

It can be a new place we just rented or bought. We start thinking how to arrange all the stuff we have got there or our mind just wonders what to improve or change at the place we are currently living in. How to reorganize things better. Make the place look nicer. It’s natural. I guess. Sometimes we have the need for a change, for an improvement of the environment around us. We just want a nice, comfortable, perfect home for us and our closest ones.

The word “home” can represent for each of us slightly different things, depends on our situation and priorities in our life but one thing it has common for all of us. It’s the place where we want to feel nice and comfortable. A safe place where we relax and are (can be) who we really are.

So now when we moved all the furniture on it’s new “right” place or have decided about another change(s) of the interior. We usually think about a decoration then. And about the walls as last.
Or maybe we feel better to keep the walls clean. But at most homes or at any commercial place as a hotel room or reception. Wherever we look there is an art on walls. We know it belongs to any interior. But most people usually think about an wall art as about the last thing to think of when it comes to interior decoration and designing of the place.
It’s mostly the moment when they are finished with the interior design and then they look again at the place to maybe tweak a little bit something and they find the walls too empty.

Well, not all of us are like that. And personally I am not. Art is an important part of my life. And it’s not just because I am an artist, I believe.

“The art that stays at your home is the art which somehow connects and talks to you every time you look at it in a way you like. “

I like modern interiors, clean looking. Big open spaces. Filled with a big amount of light. That’s my personal taste if I could choose or say. But most importantly I like to be surrounded with at least couple of things at my home which have some meaning for me. Personal meaning. Things which remind me a moment or a particular period of my life. Things which can evoke inside of me “something” always when I look at it. They can trigger a smile on my face or a thinking of things happening in my life. Or a memory.

And the art I create is exactly like that. As I believe art should be like that.

Some people might see an art just as a picture. A nice one or they just don’t like it. But most of my friends, my clients and people I meet and talk to usually start thinking differently about the art at their home and in general then. And I am really glad for that as I believe an art at your home should be personal to you.

Let me explain why.
