But sometimes we stay not because something is right —
but because leaving would force us to see what we have accepted for too long.



Some women stay because they still hope.
Some because they are afraid to begin again.
Some because they have learned to confuse pain with loyalty.
I meant to stay.
Not because I was certain.
Because a part of me still thought love was something I had to earn.
Fragment 02 lives in that fragile space between longing and self-protection. Chin-Sun’s story is not every woman’s story, but many know the feeling of remaining where something inside them has already gone quiet. For some, it is uncertainty. For others, it is fear. And for some women, staying too long becomes something darker — silence, control, harm, and the slow loss of self.
